Forgotten films, films that never happened though planned?

At http://www.asiandb.com/browse/people_detail.php?code=280 there are two more films with TK mentioned - California (1997) directed by Johnny To and God of Gamblers II (1991) (Dou Hap http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101763/) directed by Jing Wong. The imdb page of Dou Hap has no mention of Takeshi, is he really there? I can't find info about To's "California" either. The plot looks very suspiciously like that of The Odd One Dies. So what is it - a film planned but never shot? ...

THanks to Kimiko, I have seen couple of prominent moments to this film and might say IU really do want ti in my film list - that is a very beautifull and romantic story and I was so ingaged into what was going on on the scene that I have forgotten that I was in the club.
